The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is typically more expensive than the HP 15" Laptop. It has better build quality, a higher resolution display, and stronger performance scores for general use, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, suitable for professionals who need a high performing machine and can afford the premium. The MacBook Pro also offers silent, fanless operation and a higher battery life for portability, with a lighter and more compact form factor, which is great for on-the-go use. Conversely, the HP 15" Laptop is more budget-friendly, it may suffice for general use or light engineering tasks, and it offers a larger screen. However, it might struggle with more demanding applications, and its build and display quality are not on par with the MacBook Pro. If price is a major concern and you're focused on basic tasks, the HP might meet your needs, while for higher performance and quality, the MacBook Pro is a better option. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) offers a high-resolution display and exceptional color accuracy, which makes for a vivid and clear viewing experience for both general users and professionals in engineering and design, but its standard refresh rate is less suitable for 3D applications which benefit from faster screen updates. The HP 15" Laptop, with its moderate screen resolution and brightness, provides an adequate display for everyday tasks and some engineering work, but its color range falls short for high-end design accuracy and its lower refresh rate impacts gaming and 3D performance. Both laptops have their strengths, but for those who prioritize premium display quality for professional creative work, the MacBook Pro stands out, while for users with a focus on general use and cost-effectiveness, the HP 15" may suffice.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is fair for 3D because it features an Apple M1 chip with integrated GPU that performs decently for 3D applications within its ecosystem, although its 60Hz screen refresh rate may not be optimal for fast-paced 3D interactions. The HP 15" Laptop, while also featuring a modest Intel UHD Graphics integrated in the i3 processor and the same 60Hz screen refresh rate, offers fair performance for gaming and 3D; however, gaming is more limited on the MacBook Pro due to the incompatibility of many popular games with macOS.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the HP 15" Laptop compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
