The Apple MacBook Pro 13 offers a fanless design for silent operation, a high-quality Retina display with True Tone technology, and the efficient Apple M1 chip which provides excellent performance for everyday tasks and good battery life. It's compact and well-built, suitable for general use, light gaming, and casual content creation. However, it has limited upgradeability and ports, and the screen refresh rate is standard at 60Hz.
On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED features a larger, vibrant OLED display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz, making it ideal for smoother visuals and better color accuracy, which is great for media consumption and content creation. It's equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor and Arc GPU, offering better performance in gaming and more demanding tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning compared to the MacBook Pro. It also has more storage, additional USB ports, and Thunderbolt support. However, it's slightly heavier, and the battery life may not match the MacBook Pro's efficiency.
In summary, choose the MacBook Pro for its silent operation, compact size, and excellent build quality, which is ideal for general use and light creative work. Opt for the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED if you prioritize a larger, higher-quality display, superior performance in demanding tasks, and more connectivity options. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
