The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) comes with an Apple M1 chip and 8-core GPU, offering solid performance for general use and good capabilities for engineering tasks. It has 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB storage drive, which should be ample for everyday tasks but may be limiting for heavy multitasking or large projects. Its 13.3-inch IPS display provides a high resolution and excellent color accuracy, making it ideal for media consumption and creative work. Good battery life ensures you can work for extended periods without a charge, and its lightweight design enhances portability. The MacBook Pro features a fanless design for silent operation, backlit keyboard, and Touch ID for security. It has two Thunderbolt/USB4 ports for connectivity but lacks traditional USB-A ports, so you might need adapters for certain peripherals. It's a good fit for users who need a powerful yet portable laptop and are integrated into the Apple ecosystem, but not for those who require extensive storage or the most powerful gaming capabilities. NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | June 2022
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
