The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is a premium device with higher portability, better battery life, and superior screen quality, ideal for general use and some light professional applications, like photo editing, thanks to its OLED display and high resolution. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has a larger screen and is tailored more towards gaming, with a dedicated graphics card for demanding graphics-intensive tasks such as gaming and 3D modeling. It's less portable and has a shorter battery life but costs less. If portability and screen quality are crucial, go for the Zenbook S 13; if gaming and graphics performance are priorities, consider the TUF Gaming F17. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook S 13 excels in general use due to its superior screen quality with OLED technology, higher resolution, and better color accuracy, complemented by a more powerful CPU and ample RAM, all in a lightweight and highly portable form with a longer battery life. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook S 13, with its high-resolution display and bright panel, offers sharp and vibrant visuals that are essential for everyday tasks and professional design work, where details and color accuracy are crucial. However, its lower refresh rate hinders the quality of fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17's screen prioritizes durability and size, delivering an acceptable experience for general use and some engineering tasks but falls short in color reproduction and smoothness in high-speed gaming scenarios due to its lesser focus on high refresh rates and color gamuts.

How the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
