The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is priced in the lower midrange segment and offers a balance between performance and cost. It comes with 512 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM, alongside an Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, which makes it suitable for gaming and moderately demanding tasks. The 17.3-inch IPS display has a full HD resolution and a high refresh rate for smoother visuals, but it's not a touchscreen. It has a decent color coverage and brightness, but not the most premium display characteristics. This laptop is equipped with Windows 11 Home and has a variety of ports including USB-C. It's more substantial in size and weight compared to ultraportables, which impacts its portability but enhances its heat management capabilities. Give Feedback

Christian Hintze | April 2022
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
