When choosing between the Acer Swift 14 and the ASUS Zenbook S 13, consider your priorities. The Acer Swift 14 has a slightly larger screen size for more comfortable viewing and may offer better performance with a higher-tier CPU, making it suitable for demanding tasks. However, the ASUS Zenbook S 13 offers double the RAM, which is crucial if you multitask or use memory-intensive applications. It also features an OLED screen for more vibrant colors and contrasts, though the Acer has an above-average IPS display. The ASUS has a slightly longer battery life and it's lighter and thinner, so it's more portable. If portability, visual experience, and multitasking are your concerns, the ASUS might serve you better. If performance and a bit larger display are more important, consider the Acer. Both laptops run on Windows, with the Zenbook offering Windows 11 Pro over the Acer's Windows 11 Home, which may provide additional features for professional use. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the Acer Swift 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Acer Swift 14 and ASUS Zenbook S 13 both have panels with high resolution and brightness, making them suitable for everyday tasks, offering clear and vibrant displays that benefit activities from browsing to office work. For engineering and design, these laptops' ability to cover a broad spectrum of colors ensures that professionals can work with accurate color representation, aiding in tasks that require precise color work. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fast-moving visuals are common, the lower refresh rates of both models fall short of providing the smooth, blur-free experience favored by those specific tasks.

11.0 Hours
The Acer Swift 14 has 9 hours of battery life. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has 11 hours of battery life.
Battery life estimate is based on a mix of common use patterns. More portable and higher performing laptops tend to have less battery life.
The ASUS Zenbook S 13 and Acer Swift 14 are both very good for general use.
The Acer Swift 14 offers a solid balance for general use with its high-quality IPS screen, substantial RAM and storage capacity, and a strong processor, but it's slightly heavier and has less battery life compared to the ASUS Zenbook S 13, which excels with its brighter OLED display, longer battery duration, and higher portability, although it comes with more RAM which might be unnecessary for typical general use and contributes to a higher cost. Both devices offer backlit keyboards and operate quietly, making either a good choice for everyday tasks, but the Acer may appeal to those valuing screen real estate and processor performance, while the ASUS is ideal for users prioritizing a lightweight machine with superior display quality and endurance on the go.

How the Acer Swift 14 and the ASUS Zenbook S 13 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
