The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is more affordable and has a longer battery life, making it suitable for general use and travel. Its AMD processor and midrange build offer moderate performance for everyday tasks and light engineering work. The MSI Stealth GS66 is more expensive but packs a powerful Intel processor and Nvidia GPU, ideal for intensive engineering, 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming tasks, though at the cost of shorter battery life and heavier weight, which impacts its portability. The MSI also has a higher build quality, more RAM, and better heat management, but for non-intensive users, the additional cost may not offer proportional benefits. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has adequate resolution and brightness, but its panel type may not offer the wide viewing angles and color accuracy found in the MSI Stealth GS66. When discussing engineering and design, the MSI trumps the Lenovo because it likely covers a wider range of the color spectrum, crucial for precise color work. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D applications because they lack the high refresh rates that provide smoother visuals and a more immersive experience.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
