The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is in a higher price range, offering more memory, a stronger processor, and better graphics capabilities, making it suitable for more demanding tasks such as light gaming or engineering work. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is more budget-friendly, with slightly less memory and a less powerful processor, though it still has ample storage and a similar screen. It's a good fit for general use like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. The IdeaPad 1 also tends to be less portable than the Slim 3 due to its larger size and weight. How the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
