The Gigabyte Aorus 17G is a high-end option with a larger screen and a powerful processor and graphics card suitable for gaming, 3D work, and engineering tasks. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life which affects portability. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is more affordable and lighter with a longer battery life, making it highly portable and suitable for general use. It also has a touchscreen but isn't as well-suited for intensive tasks due to its less powerful processor and integrated graphics. Choose based on whether performance or portability and price are your priority. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17G is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17G is more suitable for gaming and 3D applications due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU and a high screen refresh rate of 300Hz, which provide smoother visuals and better performance in graphic-intensive tasks. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" integrates a modest AMD Ryzen 7 5700U Vega 8 GPU with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz, which offers fair gaming capabilities but can't match the performance and fluidity provided by the Aorus 17G.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17G has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17G offers high resolution and brightness, along with an advanced panel type that enhances the visual experience, making it suitable for general use and detailed engineering tasks that require precise color accuracy. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has decent resolution and brightness but lacks the advanced panel technology and wide color gamuts, which limits its capability for engineering design work and doing justice to fast-paced gaming graphics.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17G and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
