Choose the Dell G15 5520 if you prioritize performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, as it offers a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and a high refresh rate of 165Hz, which is great for fast-paced gaming. It also has a better DCI-P3 color space coverage for more vibrant visuals, and it's equipped with a number pad, which is handy for data entry. However, it's heavier and bulkier, making it less portable than the Lenovo.
Opt for the Lenovo LOQ 16i if you want a more modern processor with the Intel i7-13620H, which will provide snappy performance for general use and engineering tasks. It's also more compact and slightly lighter, enhancing portability. The Lenovo's 16:10 aspect ratio screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 offers more vertical space for productivity, and it has a higher native resolution than the Dell, which can be beneficial for detailed work. However, its RTX 4050 GPU is less powerful than the Dell's RTX 3060, so it may not perform as well in intensive graphics tasks. Additionally, the Lenovo lacks a number pad and has a lower maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, which might be a drawback for avid gamers. Give Feedback

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Lenovo LOQ 16i compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
