The ASUS Vivobook 16X offers a balance of performance and portability with a higher screen refresh rate and resolution, making it a good choice for tasks that benefit from detailed visuals and color accuracy, like photo editing or design work. Conversely, the Dell G15 5520 has a larger storage capacity and better heat management, which could make it more suitable for gaming and long sessions of intensive computing. The Vivobook is lighter and has longer battery life, making it more portable, while the G15 has an edge in performance for 3D rendering and engineering tasks, albeit it's heavier and has a shorter battery duration. Both have similar price points, so your decision should weigh the importance of portability against raw performance and storage needs based on what you'll primarily use the laptop for. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook 16X and the Dell G15 5520 compare to other laptops
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
