For a balance of performance and price, the Lenovo LOQ 16i is a solid choice with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and Intel i7 processor, making it suitable for engineering tasks and some gaming, though it's heavier and bulkier than the Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16, on the other hand, offers a more premium, portable design with an OLED touchscreen that's excellent for general use and media consumption, but its Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor may not match the Lenovo's performance for intensive tasks. The Samsung's battery life is also superior, lasting longer under typical usage, and its 2-in-1 design adds versatility. Consider the Lenovo for performance-intensive applications and the Samsung for portability, battery life, and a superior display for everyday use. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | September 2023
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
