For those prioritizing gaming or demanding graphical tasks like video editing, the Dell G15 5520 with an Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card is well-suited due to its strong performance in these areas, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which affects portability. On the other hand, the Dell Latitude 5430 is more portable thanks to its lighter weight and longer battery life, making it a better option for general business use and those who travel frequently. However, it won't perform as well in graphically intense tasks due to its integrated graphics. Both laptops run different versions of Windows, with the G15 on Windows 11 Home and the Latitude on the more business-oriented Windows 11 Pro. Give Feedback

The Dell G15 5520 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Latitude 5430 is only fair.
The Dell G15 5520 excels in engineering and design use due to its more powerful CPU, double the RAM, and dedicated high-end GPU, all of which significantly enhance performance for demanding tasks and complex graphical work. On the other hand, the Dell Latitude 5430, while being lighter and more portable, offers a less powerful CPU, integrated graphics, and less RAM, which may limit its capability to handle intensive engineering and design applications as effectively.

The Dell G15 5520 has a better screen than the Dell Latitude 5430 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Dell G15 5520 offers a good balance of resolution and brightness, providing clear and vivid visuals for everyday tasks, while the Latitude 5430 has a slightly lower quality in that respect. In engineering and design, the G15 stands out due to its wider color gamut coverage, crucial for accurate color representation, something the Latitude 5430 lacks in comparison. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the G15 falls short because of its lower refresh rate, which is less optimal for the smooth visuals often desired in high-motion scenarios, an area where neither laptop excels.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Dell Latitude 5430 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
