For a balance of performance and portability with a stunning OLED display, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is ideal, especially for media consumption and everyday tasks. Its sleek design and lighter weight make it more convenient to carry around. However, if you prioritize gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks, the Dell G15 5520 offers superior performance with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and higher RAM capacity, albeit at the cost of being bulkier and having a shorter battery life. The Dell's IPS display is also less impressive than the ASUS's OLED, but it has a higher refresh rate which gamers might appreciate. Consider the Dell for more intensive tasks and gaming, and the ASUS for a better balance of features suitable for general use and travel. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and the Dell G15 5520 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
