Considering the tradeoffs between the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14, here's how each may serve your needs. The ASUS offers a larger screen and dedicated gaming features which could enhance your gaming experience; it also comes in at a slightly lower price point. However, it has less storage, shorter battery life, heavier weight, and may not be as convenient for portability as the Lenovo. The Lenovo has a higher resolution touch screen, longer battery life, and a lighter and thinner design, making it more suitable for on-the-go use and professional environments. It also has a larger storage capacity and more RAM, which can handle intensive computing tasks better. If gaming and larger display size are your priority, go for the ASUS; if you prioritize portability, battery life, and a higher resolution touch screen for a range of tasks including light gaming, the Lenovo would be a better fit. NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | April 2022
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."

PCWorld

Matthew S. Smith | May 2023
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 is an attractive, portable laptop that’s ideal if you need a combination of CPU and GPU performance. It also nails the fundamentals with solid connectivity, an enjoyable keyboard, a large touchpad, and top-notch webcam. Display quality is a weakness, but it’s an acceptable compromise for the laptop’s extremely competitive $1,199 MSRP. The Slim Pro 7 is a versatile, affordable laptop and hard to beat for the price."
