The ASUS Vivobook 16X tends to be less expensive with a larger screen and higher refresh rate, suitable for fast-paced visuals, but the tradeoff is less portability due to its size and weight. It has a dedicated number pad and is well-suited for general use, engineering tasks, and even gaming due to its powerful processor and GPU. However, its battery life is shorter. The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14, on the other hand, is more portable with a higher resolution touchscreen display, longer battery life, and slightly better build quality. It's also geared towards general use and can handle engineering tasks, but with its less powerful GPU, it's not as optimal for intensive 3D work or gaming. Both have the same amount of RAM and ample storage, with the Lenovo offering double the storage capacity of the ASUS. Give Feedback

Tech Critter

Kok Kee | February 2023
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."

Matthew S. Smith | May 2023
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 is an attractive, portable laptop that’s ideal if you need a combination of CPU and GPU performance. It also nails the fundamentals with solid connectivity, an enjoyable keyboard, a large touchpad, and top-notch webcam. Display quality is a weakness, but it’s an acceptable compromise for the laptop’s extremely competitive $1,199 MSRP. The Slim Pro 7 is a versatile, affordable laptop and hard to beat for the price."
