If portability and battery life are important to you, along with general use and multitasking, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i will serve you well with its lighter weight and longer battery life. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17, while heavier and with less battery life, offers better performance for gaming and 3D applications due to its dedicated graphics card. Consider the Lenovo for productivity and everyday use, and the ASUS if you need more power for gaming or intensive tasks and don't mind the extra weight and shorter battery life. Both are similarly priced, but the final decision should align with your specific needs. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"Among Lenovo's multiple laptop brands, the IdeaPad family is decidedly the one designed for consumers: people who want decent performance at a reasonable price. Consider, then, this laptop a paragon for the pickier members of that crowd. With a 14-inch touch-enabled display, a comfortable keyboard, an Evo-certified Intel Core i7 11th Generation CPU, and the latest Windows 11 operating system, the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro ultraportable ($1,199 as tested) is a slick mainstream machine at a bit of a premium price, and quite capable for everyday tasks."
