The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 offers a larger screen and a higher refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming and fast-motion applications, but it's heavier and not as easy to carry around as the HP EliteBook 845 G9, which boasts a longer battery life and higher-resolution display along with better build quality, making it ideal for professional use. The HP also has a more color-accurate screen and a stronger processor for general tasks, while the ASUS's gaming-grade graphics are more suited for 3D applications and engineering tasks. Both are similarly priced with the same storage, but the HP provides double the RAM of the ASUS. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has a better screen than the HP EliteBook 845 G9 for gaming and AI, while the HP EliteBook 845 G9 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17, with its focus on gaming, may not have the high refresh rates needed for the most fluid visuals in fast-paced games or 3D rendering applications, despite its decent resolution and panel type that suffice for everyday tasks. On the other hand, the HP EliteBook 845 G9, while it also has a display not optimized for high refresh rates, offers superior color accuracy which benefits users involved in engineering and design, ensuring that colors are represented faithfully. However, both laptops may not satisfy gamers or professionals in 3D fields who require that blend of high refresh rate and performance, yet they provide good visual experiences for general computing tasks and professional design work where color precision is key.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the HP EliteBook 845 G9 compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
