The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 offers a larger screen and is better suited for gaming with its high refresh rate and dedicated gaming GPU, making it a strong choice if gaming is a priority for you. However, it is heavier and has shorter battery life. The HP Dragonfly Pro 14 is more portable and versatile with a smaller, higher-resolution touchscreen display, longer battery life, and lighter weight, making it suitable for general use and productivity with its better portability and battery performance. Neither are top-tier for intensive engineering tasks, but both are competent for general and casual use. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."
