When choosing between the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" and the MSI GP66 Leopard, consider your primary usage. The HP is lighter, with a better battery life, making it more suitable for general use and travel. Its touchscreen and high-resolution screen cater to productivity and multitasking. On the other hand, the MSI, with its powerful graphics card and processor, handles gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering tasks better but is heavier and has a shorter battery life. Both are midrange-priced, but the MSI may cost slightly more due to its gaming capabilities, whereas the HP balances cost with performance for everyday tasks. Give Feedback

Brendan Nystedt | March 2023
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."

NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | December 2021
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
