The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is generally less expensive, offers a larger screen, and has good performance for gaming and general use, but it's heavier and not as portable. It also has lower battery life compared to the Eluktronics RP-15. On the other hand, the RP-15, while typically more expensive, provides better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, thanks to its more powerful processor and graphics card. It also has a higher resolution screen, more RAM for multitasking, and longer battery life, making it more suitable for intensive tasks and on-the-go use despite having a smaller screen. NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | April 2022
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."

Hardware Canucks

Eber Anthony | October 2020
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."

Their most popular product lines include the budget-friendly VivoBook, more premium ZenBook, and their TUF and ROG gaming laptops, the latter of which has a reputation for excellent gaming performance.

About Eluktronics

Eluktronics is a relatively new American gaming laptop company, founded in 2011. They are a reseller for the Taiwanese brand Clevo, who manufacture laptops exclusively and ship them to resellers like Eluktronics who customize them.
