The ASUS TUF Gaming F15, being a gaming laptop, excels in performance with a higher-end graphics card, making it suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. However, it is less portable and has shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel use. The Dell Inspiron 16 5635, on the other hand, trades off some performance for longer battery life, lighter weight, and a quieter operating environment, which could be preferable for general use and tasks that don't require high-end graphics capabilities. If a higher resolution and larger screen are important for productivity or entertainment, the Dell offers advantages over the ASUS. Choose the ASUS for performance-intensive tasks and the Dell for better portability and battery life. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 boasts a powerful Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 144Hz, which are key for superior gaming and 3D performance. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 relies on the integrated Vega 8 graphics within the AMD Ryzen processor and has a lower refresh rate of 60Hz, resulting in less optimal gaming and 3D capabilities.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is good.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 stands out for engineering and design due to its powerful Intel i7 processor and superior Nvidia RTX GPU, which are essential for intensive tasks, along with a high-quality display, but it is heavier and thus less portable than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635. The Dell Inspiron, while offering a higher resolution and taller screen beneficial for designing, relies on integrated AMD graphics which are less robust compared to dedicated GPUs for engineering simulations and 3D rendering, and it has a lighter build, making it more portable but less suited for the most demanding engineering applications.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, and gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers a high-quality display that's bright and clear with good resolution, making it ideal for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. In engineering and design, it falls short as it doesn't cover a wide range of color gamuts, which means colors may not be as accurate compared to specialized screens. For gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate may not provide as smooth of an experience as displays designed specifically for these purposes, with less fluid motion and potentially more screen tearing.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
