Choosing between the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI Pulse GL66 hinges on your preferences for performance, price, and storage needs. The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers more storage and a newer, more powerful graphics card, which may make it a better choice for intensive gaming and 3D or machine learning tasks, but it usually comes with a slightly higher price and a heavier build. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66 is slightly lighter and has a marginally better build quality, but comes with less storage and an older, less powerful graphics card, making it less suitable for the most demanding tasks. If battery life is a concern, the ASUS has a larger battery capacity, which should translate into longer usage times between charges. Both laptops have good quality displays and keyboards, but differ in the number of USB-C and other ports, which could be a factor if connectivity options are a priority for you. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize image clarity and crisp text, the ASUS has an advantage in resolution and brightness for everyday tasks. When working in engineering and design where accurate colors are crucial, both laptops offer similar performance but may not fully satisfy professionals due to limited color gamut coverage. Meanwhile, for gaming and 3D rendering, the ASUS falls short due to a lower refresh rate, which is key for fluid motion and fast-paced visuals.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers solid general use performance with its powerful CPU and ample RAM, complemented by a high-quality IPS screen, though it's less portable and has only moderate battery life. The MSI Pulse GL66 features similar general use capabilities with a high-quality screen and good RAM support while also being slightly more portable and having a substantially higher contrast ratio, but it falls short in battery capacity and storage space compared to the ASUS model.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
