If you prioritize a laptop with more power for gaming, 3D rendering, or engineering tasks, and don't mind paying extra, consider the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 due to its higher-performing processor and graphics card. However, it has a shorter battery life and is heavier, making it less portable. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is more budget-friendly and lighter, which may be better for general use and if you carry your laptop around often, but it offers less storage, a less powerful processor, and graphics that are more suitable for less demanding games and tasks. Both models have a similar screen size and resolution. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming A17 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 for software development, and content creation, while the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has a better screen for general use.
For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17's screen offers higher resolution and brightness, making text and images crisper and easier to see in various lighting conditions. In engineering and design, both laptops have limitations in color accuracy due to more basic color gamut coverage, leaving them less ideal for tasks that require precise color work. "There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
