For performance-intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is the superior choice with a robust processor and high-end graphics card. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less convenient for travel. The LG Ultra 16 is significantly more portable due to its lighter weight and longer battery life, and it's less expensive, but its performance lags behind the Asus, especially in demanding tasks. If portability and cost are your primary concerns, and your tasks are more general use, the LG is a better fit. If you prioritize performance for demanding applications and can accept less portability and higher cost, the ASUS is your go-to. Both have 16-inch displays and similar screen quality, so your viewing experience should be comparable on either device. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 has a better screen than the LG Ultra 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 boasts a high-resolution display with vibrant colors that enhance visuals for general use and engineering tasks, providing a wide color gamut that professionals require for color-sensitive work. However, its lower refresh rate compared to dedicated gaming laptops may not appeal to gamers who prioritize fluid motion. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 16 offers adequate resolution and color representation for everyday tasks and some engineering applications, but similarly falls short for gaming due to its modest refresh rate, which limits the smoothness of fast-paced visuals.

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
