For task-oriented work involving general use, 3D/machine learning, or engineering, the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offers performance that is well-suited for these activities, despite being slightly heavier and with a shorter battery life compared to the LG Ultra 16. If affordability is a priority, and you also desire a machine that is lighter and boasts a far longer battery life, the LG Ultra 16 is a compelling option, with performance that while still apt for general tasks, might fall behind in more demanding scenarios. Keep in mind that the Dell's keyboard and webcam have been evaluated as slightly superior. Moreover, if a touchscreen is a must-have for convenience or specific applications, only the Dell provides this feature. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the LG Ultra 16 have similar screen quality.
When choosing between the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the LG Ultra 16 for general use, consider that while both have acceptable resolution and brightness, neither offers the high-quality panel type that would enhance everyday viewing experiences. For engineering and design tasks, both laptops provide fair color accuracy, but they don't cover the wide color gamuts needed for the most precise color work. However, gamers and 3D designers should look elsewhere, as both models have lower refresh rates and only moderate resolution and panel quality, which are insufficient for the fluid and detailed visuals typically desired in these fields.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
