The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is tailored for gaming and demanding tasks with its high performance, but it also comes with a heftier price tag and is less portable due to its size and weight. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" offers affordability and better portability, making it suitable for general use and everyday tasks. Its performance is modest in comparison, which may not be ideal for heavy 3D applications, machine learning, or gaming. Battery life typically favors the IdeaPad for light usage, while the Zephyrus may drain faster under intense workloads. Consider what you're willing to compromise on—cost and portability for casual use, or invest more for a power-packed machine that is less easy to carry around. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is praised for its display because it offers a high resolution and bright screen, making it sharp and clear for general use along with wide color gamuts that benefit precision tasks in engineering and design. However, for gaming and 3D rendering, its lower refresh rate compared to specialized gaming laptops makes for less fluid visuals, so it's less suitable for fast-paced games. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 has a screen that provides acceptable resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient color reproduction for amateur design work, but its overall display characteristics fall short for the high fidelity and fast refresh demands of gaming and professional 3D work.

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"As long as you're aware of the fact that the GeForce RTX 3080 laptop version can only unfold its potential to a limited extent due to Asus's low TDP setting and that it can be slower than a fast RTX 3070 laptop, the ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503Q cuts a fine figure. One of the biggest highlights turns out to be the WQHD panel, since it attracts customers with 165 Hz, relatively fast response times, FreeSync, and good color-space coverage. Other selling points are the surprisingly rich sound, the long battery life, and the sleek design. In terms of looks, the white edition stands out nicely from the competition."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
