If you need a laptop primarily for gaming or intensive tasks like 3D modeling or high-end video editing, the ASUS ROG Strix G17, with its powerful processor and advanced graphics, will handle these demands well but is less portable and has a shorter battery life. Conversely, the ASUS Zenbook 13 offers great portability, sufficient performance for everyday tasks, better battery life, and comes at a lower cost; however, it will not perform as well for demanding tasks and gaming due to its less robust internal hardware. Your choice would depend on whether performance or portability and price are your priority. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G17 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook 13 for gaming and AI, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and ASUS Zenbook 13 offer crisp images and bright displays with high resolution, which make for comfortable reading, web browsing, and multimedia consumption. In engineering and design, their screens excel by covering a wide range of colors, ensuring that professionals see accurate and vibrant hues needed for precise work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both may fall short as their refresh rates aren't as high as dedicated gaming models, leading to less fluid motion and potentially less enjoyable gaming or 3D experiences.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS Zenbook 13 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The Asus ZenBook 13 is a compact 13-inch laptop with a fast Ryzen 7 5800U and OLED display. The subnotebook is also light and the modern design is convincing. The selection of high-quality materials make the device not only light, but also very stable. In addition, the visuals and haptics of the device offers a high-quality impression. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800U is a very good fit for the ZenBook 13, ensuring a high performance in the test. However, in terms of the 3D performance, we also notice that the Vega architecture is beginning to hit its limits."
