The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is tailored for gaming and high-performance tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning with its powerful processor and graphics card, and a larger screen, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. The Razer Book 13 is more portable, offers a longer battery life, and has a high-quality screen with a touch option, which makes it ideal for business use and general tasks. Both have similar memory and storage, but the Razer's smaller size and lower weight make it more suited for travel and work on-the-go. Choose the ASUS for performance-intensive tasks or the Razer for portability and longer battery usage. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | October 2023
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
