If price is a deciding factor and you need a machine for basic tasks, the HP 250 G10 could be adequate. However, the MacBook Pro 13 (2020) offers superior display quality, build, and battery life, well-suited for demanding graphics tasks, programming, or multimedia work—benefiting from its powerful chipset and high-resolution screen. It is also praised for silent operation due to fanless design. Keep in mind, it has fewer ports and uses MacOS, which differs from Windows in software compatibility. The HP 250 G10, with its larger screen, may be less portable but includes more connectivity options and runs Windows. Ultimately, consider the tradeoff between performance and cost, as well as your specific needs for software and portability. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is good for general use, while the HP 250 G10 is only fair.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) boasts an Apple M1 CPU with integrated graphics, high-quality IPS display with greater brightness and extensive color coverage for vivid visuals, a fanless design contributing to silent operation, and impressive battery life, making it very well-suited for general use. In comparison, the HP 250 G10 has a lower-performance Intel N200 processor, less vibrant TN display with lower resolution, shorter battery life, but offers more RAM; it is fair for general use but might not deliver the same smooth and premium experience as the MacBook Pro.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is only fair for gaming and AI, while the HP 250 G10 is poor.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) with its M1 GPU offers fair 3D capabilities and while most games run well, remember that many popular Windows games aren't available for macOS, so gaming options are limited. In comparison, the HP 250 G10 features a weaker Intel UHD Graphics GPU that delivers poor performance for both gaming and 3D tasks, this coupled with its lower quality TN display panel, pales in comparison to the MacBook's higher quality IPS display.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP 250 G10 for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 offers a high resolution and bright display providing sharpness and clarity for general tasks, along with wide color gamuts that meet the precision requirements of engineering and design work. However, its refresh rate isn't high enough for optimal 3D rendering and gaming, which prefer smoother on-screen motion. The HP 250 G10's screen lacks in overall brightness, resolution, and color accuracy, making it less suitable for both daily tasks and specialized work in engineering and design, and with a lower refresh rate, it's not ideal for gaming and 3D applications either.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
