The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is positioned as a midrange option offering higher performance suitable for general use, engineering, and creative tasks due to its Apple M1 processor and more RAM. It has a larger and more vivid display with better color accuracy, more storage, and longer battery life, which is ideal for those who require a robust and reliable machine for work that involves photo/video editing or software development. However, it's less portable and more expensive.
On the other hand, the Gateway 11.6" is a budget-friendly laptop with basic specifications like an Intel Celeron processor, less RAM, and storage, which is adequate for everyday tasks such as browsing, document editing, or streaming. It has a smaller form factor, which makes it more portable, although at the cost of screen size and resolution. Its lower price might be appealing if you're looking for something economical for light use. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the Gateway 11.6" compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
