For better performance in tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, consider the Acer Nitro 17 with its dedicated graphics and larger screen. It's less expensive but also heavier, making it less portable than the Apple MacBook Pro 13. The MacBook Pro offers a higher resolution display and is more compact and lightweight, which makes it ideal for general use and portability with the added benefit of a longer battery life. The MacOS environment on the MacBook is preferred for certain software and industries, while the Acer, running Windows, is more versatile for a wide range of applications. Give Feedback

How the Acer Nitro 17 and the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
