The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i offers superior performance for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, making it an excellent choice for engineering work. It also boasts a high-resolution Mini LED display with vibrant colors and a touchscreen, ideal for creatives and professionals who require a color-accurate screen. The 165Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals for fast-paced gaming or work. However, this performance comes with a higher price tag and less battery life compared to the LG Ultra 16. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 16 is a more budget-friendly option with a lower midrange price, offering decent general performance with its AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor and integrated Vega 8 graphics. It's a good all-rounder for everyday tasks and light gaming, with a battery life that outlasts the Lenovo. The LG's display, while not as advanced as the Lenovo's, still provides a solid visual experience with an IPS panel and a resolution that supports clear and sharp images. Its fanless design ensures silent operation, which is a plus for those who value quietness. If portability and battery life are your priorities and you don't need top-tier performance, the LG Ultra 16 is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a powerhouse that can handle intensive tasks and you're willing to pay more and carry a slightly heavier device, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i is the better investment. NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | October 2022
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
