The Lenovo LOQ 15i offers superior performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and high-performance Intel i7-13700H processor, making it a strong choice for engineering tasks and intensive gaming. Its 144Hz refresh rate also ensures smooth visuals for fast-paced action. However, it's heavier and thicker, which affects its portability. The LG Ultra 16, on the other hand, is more portable with a lighter, thinner design and longer battery life, making it ideal for general use and productivity on the go. Its AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor provides good performance for everyday tasks, and the fanless design ensures silent operation. While it's not as powerful for gaming or heavy computational tasks, it offers a higher resolution display with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, which is beneficial for productivity and content consumption. If performance in specialized tasks like gaming or engineering is your priority and you don't mind a bulkier device, the Lenovo is the way to go. If you value portability, battery life, and a quieter experience for general use, the LG Ultra 16 is the better option. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | August 2023
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | October 2022
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
