The Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a newer processor and a more recent graphics card suitable for tasks requiring up-to-date hardware, but the battery life is shorter compared to some options. The MSI Pulse GL66, while having an older CPU and GPU, could provide slightly better performance for some 3D and machine learning applications. The MSI also has a slightly lighter build, making it more portable. Both have similar storage and memory, and neither is significantly better than the other for general use or engineering software. Your choice may depend on the balance between wanting the latest components and potential raw performance for specific tasks. Give Feedback

The Lenovo LOQ 15 has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
Choosing the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use and engineering would be preferable due to its superior panel type, resolution, and brightness, which enhance viewing and design experiences by offering crisper images and more accurate colors. However, for gaming and 3D applications where motion clarity is crucial, the MSI Pulse GL66's higher refresh rate could provide a smoother visual experience despite its lower screen quality in other aspects. The MSI may fall short for design professionals who prioritize a wide color gamut for precise color work, an area where the Lenovo likely excels, offering richer and more accurate color reproduction.

How the Lenovo LOQ 15 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
