The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is typically more expensive but offers better performance for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering due to its powerful AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia RTX graphics. It has a larger battery but is heavier, which slightly reduces its portability. Its screen has a higher resolution, better colour coverage, and faster refresh rate, which is excellent for both general use and specialized applications. On the other hand, the LG Ultra is much less expensive and more portable due to its lighter weight and longer battery life. Although it performs adequately for general use and has a silent, fanless operation, its integrated Vega graphics are less suited for demanding tasks. The decision between the two would rest on whether you prioritize performance for demanding applications and better display quality over cost savings and portability. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | October 2022
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
