The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro, with its Intel i5 processor and higher-resolution screen, is well-suited for tasks that require sharp visuals and capable processing power. However, its battery life is shorter. The LG Ultra 16 has a Ryzen 7 processor which offers a good balance for general use and better battery life, making it a more portable choice. Both have similar storage and RAM, but the Lenovo has a touchscreen and the LG does not. Consider the Lenovo if a high-resolution touchscreen is important for your work, or the LG if longer battery life and portability are your top priorities. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the LG Ultra 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 16 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize a sharp and vibrant display for tasks like web browsing, document editing, or streaming videos, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is superior due to its higher resolution and brightness. For engineering and design where color accuracy matters, the Lenovo also takes the lead with its wider color gamut coverage, ensuring that the colors you see on screen match the final output more closely. However, for gaming and 3D applications where the fluidity of motion is crucial, neither laptop excels because of their lower refresh rates, which can lead to less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenes.

The LG Ultra 16 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are both good for engineering and design.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is well-suited for engineering and design work due to its high-resolution screen quality and potent integrated graphics within the Intel i5-11300H CPU; however, its smaller screen size could limit workspace viewability compared to larger options. The LG Ultra 16 packs a punch with its AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor and Vega 8 graphics, delivering robust performance along with a larger 16-inch display for a more spacious visual work area, yet it sacrifices a bit of screen resolution and portability due to its larger size and slightly higher weight.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
