The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is priced within the lower midrange with similar pricing to the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360, offering 512 GB of storage, 12 GB of RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U processor with integrated Vega 8 graphics. It has a 42 Wh battery and a 15.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 and touchscreen capability. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book3 360 also has 512 GB of storage but comes with more RAM at 16 GB, a newer Intel i7-1360P processor with Iris Xe graphics, a larger 61.1 Wh battery, and a 15.6-inch OLED touchscreen with the same resolution. The IdeaPad might feel faster for tasks not heavily relying on RAM, while the Galaxy Book3 360 may offer a more vibrant display and longer battery life. Give Feedback

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a respectable AMD CPU and integrated GPU, adequate for basic engineering and design work, yet it falls behind with a less vibrant screen and lesser color accuracy when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 which boasts a more powerful Intel CPU and graphics, along with an OLED display for superior color reproduction and contrast, making it better suited for demanding engineering and design tasks. The Samsung model's higher RAM also provides smoother multitasking, while both maintain similar portability, the Lenovo's strengths lie in its lower price and robust keyboard, but the Samsung's better screen and performance justify its higher cost for professionals.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" offers an adequate display for everyday tasks like browsing and productivity, but its modest resolution and average brightness might not bring out the sharpness and vibrancy needed for detailed engineering work nor the visual fluidity desired in fast-paced gaming. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 boasts a higher-quality screen with superior brightness and resolution, making it excellent for general use and precise engineering tasks due to its better color accuracy and wider color gamut. However, both laptops fall short for serious gaming and 3D applications because they do not have high refresh rates, which are vital for smooth motion and responsiveness in these scenarios.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are both good for general use.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is well-suited for general use due to its balance of a capable CPU, adequate RAM, good screen quality, and portability paired with reasonable battery life; however, the storage space and operating noise may not be the best for more demanding tasks. The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 also excels in general use with a strong CPU, sufficient RAM, high-quality screen, and superior battery life, all in a portable form factor, while also providing better keyboard and speaker quality than the Lenovo, though it might run warmer and produce more noise under load.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 both have fair performance in gaming and 3D applications due to their integrated GPUs which are not as powerful as dedicated gaming GPUs but still capable, and standard screen refresh rates which are satisfactory for casual gaming but not ideal for high frame-rate experiences. The IdeaPad 1 comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U Vega 8 GPU and the Galaxy Book3 360 with an Intel i7-1360P Iris Xe GPU; both laptops also have the same screen refresh rate, which does not exceed the common 60Hz standard seen in many general-use laptops.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 isn’t a laptop that the Korean manufacturer has shouted from the rooftops about, and it seems to have gotten little attention from anywhere. But, it is absolutely a laptop worth paying attention to. Compared to higher-priced devices, like the Dell XPS 13 (2022) and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023), it manages to offer a similar day-to-day experience despite the price difference. It’s really hard to justify the extra cash unless a boosted display is a requirement of yours."
