The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" offers affordability with decent performance for general use, a longer battery life, and a lightweight design, making it good for everyday tasks and carrying around. It has a good quality keyboard and an ample 15.6-inch touch-enabled display for user comfort. In contrast, the Razer Blade 18 is much pricier but provides high performance suitable for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive engineering work, with a large 18-inch high-refresh-rate display and more powerful hardware, including a superior graphics card and processor. However, it has a shorter battery life and is heavier, which affects portability. Both have backlit keyboards and expansion slots, but the Razer Blade also includes additional features such as RGB keyboard lighting and hardware ray tracing, catering to gamers and professionals needing robust graphics capabilities. The Razer Blade 18 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is good.
The Razer Blade 18 has a more powerful CPU and significantly more RAM than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", enhancing its ability to handle more demanding tasks and multitasking. While both have good-quality IPS screens, the Razer's larger, higher-resolution display offers a better viewing experience, though it does result in less portability and shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo.

The Razer Blade 18 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" features a display that provides adequate clarity and brightness for everyday tasks like browsing and watching videos, which suits general users but lacks the wider color gamut needed for precision in engineering and design work, and its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for the fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. Conversely, the Razer Blade 18 offers a sharper, brighter display with a wider color range that benefits professionals in engineering and design seeking color accuracy for their projects, but gamers might find the display's refresh rate lacking for an optimal gaming experience where smooth motion is key. Therefore, general use and professional design tasks are well catered for by the Razer Blade 18's superior display, but for gaming and 3D rendering, the lower refresh rate may disappoint those looking for the highest level of visual performance.

"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
