If your main concern is saving money and having a machine for general use such as web browsing, office work, and media consumption, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 would be a suitable and more affordable option. However, the MSI Raider GE67Hx, while more expensive, offers significantly better performance for gaming, engineering applications, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks due to its more powerful processor and graphics card. It also has a higher quality display, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the Lenovo. Choose the MSI if you need top performance and the Lenovo for everyday tasks and better portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE67Hx has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1's screen quality may lack in resolution and brightness compared to the MSI Raider GE67Hx, which boasts a superior display for clearer and more vibrant viewing. In tasks like engineering and design, the MSI's excellent coverage of color gamuts ensures accurate color reproduction, which the Lenovo's display may not match. However, for gaming and 3D applications, despite the MSI's excellent resolution and panel type, its refresh rate might not deliver the smooth experience gamers seek, similar to the Lenovo which is also not designed with a high refresh rate for such purposes.

"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"If you've wanted to dip your toes into PC gaming but can't let go of your console roots, the MSI Raider GE67 HX stakes out an attractive middle ground between the speed and versatility of PC gaming and the comfort and ease of a console. If you can overlook its noisy fans and chintzy touchpad, the Raider provides a powerhouse entertainment experience with an OLED screen that tops most household TVs. It's not cheap, but this gaming machine is more than the sum of its parts."
