When deciding between the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and the LG Ultra 13, keep in mind that if you're prioritizing a larger screen and potentially stronger performance, which could be handy for tasks like video editing or multitasking with several applications, the Lenovo might appeal to you, despite its higher cost. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 13 could be a better choice if you value portability and ease of travel, as well as a lower price point. However, with a smaller screen and possibly less robust performance, it may not be as well-suited for more demanding tasks. You should also compare battery life, because a longer battery could be crucial if you often work on the go. Consider what you'll mainly use your laptop for and whether the additional expense of the Lenovo aligns with your needs. Give Feedback

The LG Ultra 13 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks, but its color gamut may not be wide enough for engineering and design needs where precise color representation is essential. The LG Ultra 13, with its superior resolution and brightness, also likely boasts a better color gamut, making it a more suitable candidate for both general use and professional design work. However, neither laptop is ideal for gaming or 3D applications due to lower refresh rates, which are critical for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals in these areas.

The LG Ultra 13 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are both only fair for engineering and design.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" with an AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and Vega 8 GPU is equipped with a fair amount of RAM and has a standard full HD screen, making it suited for engineering and design tasks, but it may not handle highly demanding applications as smoothly as more powerful options. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 13, while more portable and with higher screen quality, also has an AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and less powerful Vega 7 GPU, along with more RAM, which supports moderate engineering and design work, but similar to the Lenovo, it might struggle with intensive tasks.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
