If performance and high-resolution displays are essential for graphics design or gaming, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is suitable with better graphics, more memory, and a faster screen. However, it is more expensive. For everyday tasks like browsing and office work, and if you'd prefer to save money, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" offers ample performance at a significantly lower cost, but with lower screen quality and less power for intensive tasks. Both have similar battery life and portability, though the IdeaPad has a larger screen, which may be better for multitasking and media consumption. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i outperforms the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for gaming and 3D applications due to its superior Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and higher screen refresh rate, which leads to smoother visuals and better handling of graphics-intensive tasks. The IdeaPad 1, with its integrated AMD graphics and standard refresh rate, is suitable for less demanding games, but for more advanced gaming and 3D applications, the Slim Pro 9i provides a more immersive and responsive experience.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is excellent for engineering and design due to its powerful Intel processor, substantial RAM, and dedicated Nvidia graphics, along with exceptional screen quality featuring Mini LED and high resolution. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" provides fair performance with its AMD processor and integrated graphics, less RAM, and an IPS screen of standard resolution, making it a less optimal choice for demanding engineering and design work.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" likely has an average display, with satisfactory resolution and brightness for tasks like web browsing and document editing, but it falls short for precision work due to limited color coverage in professional color gamuts, which are crucial for engineering and design. The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, on the other hand, offers superior display with higher resolution and brightness, as well as broad color gamut coverage, delivering accurate color representation for professional design tasks. However, both models might not suit gaming or 3D applications where a high refresh rate is critical for smooth visuals, and they likely only offer standard refresh rates which are less optimal for such use cases.

"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
