When deciding between the HP Spectre x360 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15", consider how you plan to use the laptop. The HP Spectre x360, although pricier, offers a versatile 2-in-1 design with touch screen capabilities, making it suitable for tasks requiring flexibility, such as presentations or creative work where a tablet mode could be an advantage. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is targeted towards gaming and performance, often featuring robust processing power and higher-quality graphics, which is ideal for gaming, 3D rendering, and intensive tasks, but this could come at the cost of reduced portability and battery life compared to more ultraportable laptops like the Spectre. If your usage leans towards general use and portability with a premium build, the HP may be worth the extra expense. However, if you require a laptop for performance-intensive tasks or gaming, the Lenovo may offer better value despite its bulkier form factor and potential impact on battery longevity. Give Feedback

The HP Spectre x360 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, the HP Spectre x360 offers vibrant colors and sharp images due to its high-resolution display and brightness, making it ideal for browsing and media consumption, while the Lenovo Legion 5's similar traits provide a pleasing visual experience but may not be as bright. When it comes to engineering and design, the HP's wider color gamut covers professional color spaces more effectively, allowing for precise color work which is essential in these fields, whereas the Lenovo might not display colors as accurately. However, in gaming and 3D applications, where the HP falls short due to its lower refresh rate, reducing the smoothness of fast-paced action, the Lenovo's refresh rate is also not optimal for gaming, indicating both may not provide the most fluid visuals for high-speed gaming or intensive 3D rendering.

How the HP Spectre x360 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
