The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers stronger performance with its AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics, well-suited for intensive engineering tasks, 3D work, machine learning, and gaming. Its display has a higher resolution, which is better for detailed work but could reduce battery life compared to the lower resolution of the MSI Bravo 15. The Legion 5 also boasts more memory, which is essential for multitasking and complex applications. On the other hand, the MSI Bravo 15, with its AMD Ryzen 5 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, is lighter, making it more portable. Despite its lower performance, it's still capable of general use and some gaming. Ultimately, if you prioritize performance and can handle a heavier laptop, the Legion 5 is superior, but if portability is key and your tasks are less demanding, the Bravo 15 is a viable choice. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" and MSI Bravo 15 are both good for gaming and AI, though the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is somewhat better.
The Lenovo Legion 5 with its Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a high screen refresh rate makes it a strong choice for gaming and 3D applications, coupled with a superior screen resolution that enhances overall visual quality. On the other hand, while the MSI Bravo 15 also supports gaming and 3D tasks well with its Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and decent refresh rate, it offers a lower screen resolution, which may not be as sharp as the Lenovo's but could result in better gaming performance due to the reduced graphical load.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Lenovo Legion 5's superior resolution and brightness provide a crisp and vivid display, making it more suitable than the MSI Bravo 15, whose lower brightness may not be as eye-catching. In engineering and design, the Lenovo’s wider color gamut ensures more accurate color representation, which is essential for precision work, whereas the MSI has a more limited color range, leading to less precise color accuracy. For 3D and gaming, the MSI Bravo falls short as it cannot provide the smooth motion clarity that comes with a high refresh rate, which the Lenovo also lacks, making both suboptimal for fast-paced visuals.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
