The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is usually less expensive and might have lower performance for engineering and intensive 3D or machine learning tasks compared to the HP Spectre x360 which has a more powerful processor and better graphics. The Spectre x360 also features a higher resolution, more vibrant display, and longer battery life, making it better suited for tasks involving graphics or long periods away from a power source. However, it also comes with a heftier price tag. If you're looking for a more cost-effective option and don't need the higher performance, the Dell Inspiron could be the better choice. Give Feedback

The HP Spectre x360 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron's screen, while suitable for tasks like web browsing and document editing due to its resolution and brightness, lacks the wide color gamut and high resolution that the HP Spectre x360 offers, which is crucial for precision in engineering and design. However, neither the Inspiron nor the Spectre is ideal for gaming and 3D work because they don't have the high refresh rates required for smooth motion rendering, although their resolutions and panel types might suffice for casual use in those areas. The Spectre excels for general use and professional creative work because it balances resolution, brightness, and color accuracy much better than the Inspiron.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the HP Spectre x360 compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
