The Gigabyte Aorus 17G excels in performance, especially for gaming and engineering tasks, due to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card, larger display, and high refresh rate, but it is more expensive and less portable with a higher weight. On the other hand, the Razer Book 13 offers better portability, a touchscreen, a higher resolution and aspect ratio for productivity, at a lower price and longer battery life, but its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics are less suitable for intensive 3D tasks and gaming. Consider the Razer for general use and mobility or the Aorus for performance-heavy tasks if portability is not a primary concern. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2021
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
