If you require high-performance for gaming or engineering applications, the Gigabyte Aorus 17G, with more powerful processors and a superior graphics card, will serve you well, despite being heavier and costlier. On the other hand, the HP 15" Laptop, being lighter and less expensive, is better suited for general use and easier to carry around, but it won't handle intensive tasks as efficiently due to its less powerful hardware. Choose the Gigabyte for demanding tasks and if budget allows, or opt for the HP for everyday use and better portability. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17G is good for general use, while the HP 15" Laptop is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17G excels in general use with a high-performance CPU, abundant RAM, and superior screen quality but it's less portable and has moderate battery life, which may not be ideal for on-the-go users. In contrast, the HP 15" Laptop offers fair general performance with less RAM and a lower-tier CPU, its portability is higher due to its lighter weight and compact size, but the screen quality and battery life do not match the Gigabyte's, making it suitable for less demanding tasks.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17G has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17G offers a vivid and sharp display essential for general use and engineering tasks, with high resolution and brightness that enhances user experience, and wide color gamuts that are crucial for precision in design work. However, it falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a less than optimal refresh rate, which can compromise the smoothness of fast-moving visuals. In contrast, the HP 15" Laptop provides a screen that's adequate but not exceptional for everyday tasks and engineering, with acceptable brightness and resolution, and less coverage of professional color gamuts, while also lacking in the refresh rate needed for fluid 3D and gaming experiences.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17G and the HP 15" Laptop compare to other laptops
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
