The Gigabyte Aero 17 is the more expensive option and caters to those needing high performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering, with its superior processor, graphics card, and larger memory. It offers a Mini LED screen with higher resolution, better color coverage, and higher brightness than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15"; however, it's less portable due to its larger size and weight. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", while more affordable and portable with a longer battery life, delivers lower performance and is better suited for general use and less intensive gaming, with its integrated graphics and lower memory capacity. Both laptops have Windows pre-installed but differ in screen size, type, and overall performance capabilities suitable for their respective price brackets. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, a vibrant and sharp display offers a balanced experience, which the Gigabyte Aero 17 provides with its high resolution and brightness, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1's moderate screen characteristics deliver an adequate, though less impressive, viewing quality. The Aero's wider color gamut ensures accurate colors for professional engineering and design tasks, but its lower refresh rate does not suit the fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. In contrast, the IdeaPad 1's fair color range might suffice for entry-level design work, but like the Aero, its refresh rate is not tailored to the demands of gaming or 3D content creation.

"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
