The Gigabyte Aero 16, being more expensive, offers superior graphics capabilities with its Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, making it well-suited for intensive engineering tasks, 3D work, machine learning, and gaming. It also has a high-resolution OLED screen, making it excellent for visual tasks. However, it's less portable due to its size and weight. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is more affordable and highly portable due to its light weight and 2-in-1 convertible design, making it a practical choice for general use and business applications, but less powerful for demanding tasks as it features integrated graphics. The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 16's superior resolution and panel type enhance visual clarity and detail, making it ideal for detailed engineering work and pleasing for general use, but its lower refresh rate hampers the gaming experience where smooth motion is crucial. The MSI Summit’s respectable screen quality provides adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient color reproduction for professional design tasks, but like the Aero, falls short for gaming due to its refresh rate limitations. Both laptops offer features well-suited for productivity and creative endeavors, yet neither are optimized for the high refresh rates desired by gaming and 3D applications.

How the Gigabyte Aero 16 and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
