If you prioritize a high-performance laptop for tasks like engineering with a better display for sharp images and more RAM for smooth multitasking, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is a better choice but it comes with a higher price tag. However, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option that is suitable for general use, the Gateway 14.1" laptop will cost you less but with lower performance and a less impressive display. Keep in mind, the Lenovo also offers extra features like a touchscreen, a more portable design, and a backlit keyboard, which the Gateway lacks. Give Feedback

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga has a better screen than the Gateway 14.1" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Gateway 14.1" laptop, with its fair screen, provides adequate resolution and brightness for tasks like web browsing and document editing, but its color accuracy and gamut may fall short for engineering and design applications that require precise color reproduction. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, with a higher quality display, offers good resolution and brightness for everyday tasks as well as better color representation suited for professionals in engineering and design. However, both laptops lack high refresh rates, making them less ideal for gaming and 3D modeling where smoother visual transitions are critical.

"The Gateway Ultra Slim 14" is surprisingly quiet with long battery life. The inexpensive Gateway excels at maximizing performance per dollar with lots of RAM and storage, super-quiet fan, and a long battery life. It can even house up to two M.2 SSDs which we weren't expecting from such a cheap system. However, the iffy reliability of the keyboard and USB-C port on our test unit means users should double-check for these potential issues immediately after purchasing."
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
